About
Ymar Frenken - Salesforce consultant and digital transformation specialist

Hi, I'm Ymar

I'm a CRM consultant from the Netherlands. I help companies untangle messy systems, mostly in Salesforce, and turn them into tools people actually want to use.

My Philosophy

My work lives at the intersection of strategy and implementation: fixing what's broken today while keeping an eye on how it scales tomorrow.

My Journey

I've spent the past decade leading Salesforce projects in sales, service, marketing, and experience—sometimes deep in the details, sometimes steering the big picture. Along the way, I've picked up ten Salesforce certifications, an interest in HubSpot, and a habit of questioning whether the "problem" clients bring me is really the one worth solving.

Here's what I see all the time: Companies have disconnected systems everywhere. Sales data lives in one place, marketing data in another. Customer service picks up calls with zero context. Teams work in silos because their tools don't talk to each other.

This wasn't always obvious to me. Back when I was a developer at Zalando in Berlin, I saw something that blew my mind. They had their email system connected with customer data and everything just worked. Seamlessly. It was like watching a machine where all the parts actually fit together.

That's when it clicked for me.

What I Do Now

Now I do this full-time. I come into companies and make their CRMs actually useful. I work mostly with Salesforce, but the principle is the same everywhere. Clean up the chaos. Build something people want to use instead of something they have to use.

The results speak for themselves: more deals close, customers get better service, revenue grows.

Working Principles

How I approach problems

Momentum Through Practical Steps

I focus on identifying high-impact, achievable next steps that maintain momentum. Sometimes that means configuring a critical workflow today rather than planning the perfect architecture for tomorrow.

Solutions-Focused Collaboration

CRM implementations often reveal competing priorities across departments. My approach isn't about right or wrong, but finding the path that serves the entire revenue process. I bring a constructive "how might we" mindset to every challenge.

Connecting Strategy to Daily Operations

The best revenue systems bridge strategic vision and day-to-day usability. I work at both levels—designing the architecture that supports your growth strategy while ensuring the systems actually work for the people using them every day.

Data Architecture with Purpose

I build revenue systems with both analytics and adoption in mind. Clean data models and thoughtful metrics are essential, but equally important is how we position these systems to users. The most powerful CRM implementation combines robust data architecture with a compelling story about how it helps everyone succeed.

When I'm Not Working

When I'm not working on CRMs, I'm with my two kids, cooking (a little Scandinavian), or lost in progressive trance and deep house.

Let's Connect

I'm always interested in discussing new challenges, sharing insights about Revenue Operations, or simply connecting with fellow professionals. Whether you're looking to optimize your current systems or planning a major digital transformation, I'd love to hear about your project.

Or feel free to reach out via email or connect with me on LinkedIn.
