I have a bone to pick with Iterable. We've been part of two evaluations recently where they've told prospects they have a "pre-built, productized" integration with Salesforce. This isn't true. What Iterable has done is strategic marketing. Iterable has white labeled Workato as an integration platform. Workato is a tremendous automation and integration tool. Many Stitch customers have it. It has a pre-built connector with Salesforce (https://lnkd.in/eEri6juV). It can also connect to Iterable, and Braze, as well as 1,200+ other platforms (most of our customers use it for their lead gen integrations with Meta & other social platforms). What's also important here is that there's no silver bullet when integrating with Salesforce. Even when using the productized connector for Salesforce Marketing Cloud, many situations required custom integrations or a reliance on automations to make the data from Sales & Service Cloud actionable. Regardless of the platform you're evaluating, don't take the "pre-built connector with Salesforce" at face value. There's always more to the story and the key, like any integration, is identifying use cases & a well defined solution architecture. | 45 comments on LinkedIn
