If you sell SEO audits, you're doing work like a building inspector. Which might be fine! There's a time and a place for it, and the work can be very valuable. But if you think you're in the business of building houses or websites, you're mistaken. Most SEO agencies are stuck running a playbook that's out of date - with a process that puts the audit front and center. Instead, consider sprinting towards: * TAM definition - what is the growth opportunity available * Resourcing - what will it take to get there (and how long will it take) * Bias towards action - pick the 2 most valuable things from the audit and ditch the rest * Content creation - the companies that grow fastest focus on producing net new content and experiences, not tweaking the nuts and bolts of what's already there. Now, before you "well, actually..." at me in the comments - here's a challenge: if you think your audit is valuable you should be turning it into an always-on process, not a one-time report.
